Hawk Camera

Dear Little Elm Residents,

Greetings from your newest neighbors, Lilian and Elmer! We wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know that we’ve comfortably settled into our new “sky-high” abode on top of your iconic water tower. The lights around the tinman? Yeah, we thought they’d make the perfect ambiance for our soon-to-hatch eggs, so we took the liberty to disable them. We hope you don’t mind a bit of mood lighting in the neighborhood (The Lawn™)!

Big shoutout to The Town for the giant TV at The Lawn™. It’s become our favorite perch for movie nights! Last week, we enjoyed the Trolls movie, and now we’re all about that March Madness. Who knew hawks could be such sports enthusiasts?

In the spirit of community bonding, The Town has even installed a fancy camera near our nest, turning our feathered family journey into the hottest reality show in town – “Lil Elm’s Next Top Nest.” Currently, our nest holds three eggs, and we’re laying down bets on their grand entrance. Fun fact: The usual incubation period for our eggs ranges from 28 to 35 days.

So, tighten your talons, ruffle your feathers, and get ready for a chirp-tastic time. We’re thrilled to be your neighbors, and we can’t wait to share the joy of our upcoming fluff balls!

Wings and Wishes,

Lilian and Elmer (Lil Elm)
