Leo’s Brunch House is a local favorite, known for its vibrant, health-forward menu. They offer a range of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dishes, making it easy to find something that aligns with your dietary preferences. Situated near the scenic lake, Lakefront Energy is a go-to spot for refreshing and nutritional beverages. They specialize in energizing teas and protein shakes perfect for a pre-workout treat or a midday pick-me-up. With its lakeside location, it’s an ideal stop after a stroll along the shore.

Hit the Trail, Find your Pace

Start your wellness journey with a brisk walk or jog along the Lakefront Trail. These crushed granite paths wind through the waterfront area, offering peaceful lake views, plenty of sunshine, and that feel-good hit of endorphins. Stretching approximately four miles, this trail provides a serene escape with stunning water views and ample opportunities for hikers, cyclists, and nature lovers. The east end of the trail starts near Veterans Memorial Bridge and connects with the paved trail that runs through McCord Park. Parking is available at McCord Park, which adds a mile of paved trail, or at the splash pad off of Witt Rd. The west end of the trail starts at Tender Smokehouse with a public parking lot next door.

The Rec at The Lakefront™ offers robust fitness programming to appeal to all fitness levels and interests. This recreation center offers state-of-the-art fitness facilities, group classes, and family-friendly amenities. The Group Exercise classes (including Water Exercise) are included with a membership, unless otherwise noted. Their fitness programming for group exercise classes includes an energetic and seasoned group of fitness instructors who specialize in a diverse selection of fitness classes including: Yoga, Zumba, Strength Training, Pilates, Cross Training, Cardio and Core, Cycling, Water Aerobics, and Barre. It’s the perfect place to complement your healthy eating habits with regular physical activity. This spring, join in on some outdoor recreation with Yoga at The Lawn™, held the fourth Saturday of the month at 125 Main St.
