The Lakefront Grand Prix – Presented by Longo Toyota of Prosper

Start your engines! Bring your Power Wheels out for the race of the year! Join us in Little Elm Park for the Lakefront Grand Prix featuring races, music, pit crew prizes, and more!
The Race:
🏎️ Drivers will race 250 feet in a straight line in a dedicated lane
🏎️ Winners of each race advance to the next heat
🏎️ All other participants will receive a finisher medal
Race groups include:
+ 3-4-year-olds | Races begin at 10 a.m.
+ 5-6-year-olds | Races begin at 11 a.m.
+ 7-9-year-olds | Races begin at 1 p.m.
+ Modified All Ages | Races begin at 1 p.m.
+ Miscellaneous Vehicles All Ages | Races begin at 1:30 p.m.
Prizes:
🏎️ Each age group will race in heats until there is a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner
🏎️ 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners from each race group will receive a trophy
🏎️ Best “Pit Crew” awards will be given to the racer who has the best support team – signs, banners, and custom T-shirts are all encouraged!
Vehicles:
Unless registered in the modified vehicles race group, all vehicles must follow the rules below. We will be inspecting ALL racer vehicles upon check in.
🏎️ Vehicles must have four wheels unless registered in the modified or miscellaneous groups
🏎️ No bumpers, weights, or anything to reinforce the vehicle
🏎️ All vehicles must be battery operated, no gas vehicles
🏎️ No modifications to vehicles are allowed
🏎️ Racers will provide their own vehicle for the race
Miscellaneous vehicles include all two-wheel vehicles, hover boards, and anything not considered a “Power Wheel”.
Registration:
🏎️ Registration is $20 per racer, which includes entry into at least one race, a t-shirt, and finisher medal
🏎️ Racers pick their own number and racer name
🏎️ Drivers are encouraged to register online through Eventbrite as day-of registration will be limited
🏎️ On-site registration will be $25 and does not guarantee a t-shirt or finisher medal
