July Jubilee

Dear Little Elm Community,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce significant changes to our 4th of July programming and the cancellation of many activities associated with the July Jubilee event in Little Elm Park. Due to recent heavy rain causing flooding and anticipated rain in the coming weeks, our park and its surrounding areas are currently submerged, rendering it unsafe to host the large crowds that typically attend this event. We are not confident that water levels will recede by the 4th of July, but if they recede, we are anticipating damage to the area that will not safely accommodate large crowds.

Our two fireworks shows will proceed as scheduled on July 4, 2024! Little Elm Park will be closed on July 4, 2024, with portions of the park reopening at 7 p.m. for fireworks viewing areas.

Firework Show Details:
Venue: Little Elm Park
• Park Closure: Little Elm Park will remain closed until 7 p.m. for safety reasons.
• Parking: Standard parking fees of $10 per vehicle will apply starting at 7 p.m. Residents and visitors with an annual parking pass CAN use them on this day.
• Fireworks: The firework show will begin around 9 p.m.
• Alternative Access: From 7 p.m. onward, guests can access the park by walking, using ride-share services, or taking advantage of the e-frog service, all at no additional cost.

Venue: Little Elm High School
• Parking: There is no parking charge at this venue.
• Fireworks: The firework show will begin around 9 p.m.

We understand the disappointment this news may bring, especially to those who have made it a tradition to celebrate Independence Day with us at Little Elm Beach. Please know that this decision was made with the utmost concern for everyone’s safety and well-being.

We are excited to offer these two spectacular firework shows that will focus on our Little Elm residents and their families, creating unforgettable memories on the 4th of July.

We invite our Little Elm families to bring their blankets, lawn chairs, and coolers to enjoy our firework show.

Warm regards,
