Are you ready for some football? The hundred degree summer days seem to behind us, and that means football season is finally here! If you’re in the DFW area and are looking for a place to watch your college or NFL (Cowboys, right?) team, we’ve got you covered! Here are five places we’ll be at to watch our favorite teams.
Towers Tap House
Towers Tap House, located on Eldorado Parkway in Lakefront at Little Elm, offers beer, cocktails, and American comfort food with an outdoor patio that overlooks Lake Lewisville. Towers Tap House has 16 beers on tap, including a wide variety of Texas craft beers and food and drink specials on NFL game days. Towers shows all the big games, and with 16+ screens, so you are sure to see every play. Stan’s Blue Note
Stan’s on Lower Greenville is a haven for sports fans, with 30 TVs and 50+ beers on tap. It’s the official watch party location for Texas Tech Red Raider fans, but they show all the big college and NFL games, too. Stan’s was recently named Best Sports Bar in Dallas 2019 by D Magazine and has a menu complete with burgers, peppercorn medallions, and their famous catfish.
Truck Yard Dallas
When the weather is nice, head over to Truck Yard Dallas and sit outside and enjoy a game on their outdoor big screen. Truck Yard has craft draft cocktails, local brews served up at 29 degrees and food trucks available 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Grab a beer and a famous Truck Yard Philly cheesesteak and relish in the best season of them all…football season.
Little Elm Crafthouse
Looking for a more low-key spot to watch the game with your crew? Head to Little Elm Crafthouse, a place with a relaxed vibe where you can get flights, pints, and growlers of great local craft beers. While the Crafthouse doesn’t serve food, they do sometimes bring in food trucks and you’re always welcome to bring in your own. Plus, they open on Sunday at noon during football season and have NFL Sunday Ticket, so you’ll never miss a game.
Texas Republic
When you want to see a game on a big screen, head over to Texas Republic in Fort Worth to watch the action on their 168 square foot Megatron LED TV! Texas Republic in West 7th offers pub grub, personal pitchers of beer and moonshine shot flights in a huge, modern-rustic space with a rooftop patio. Order the Trash Can Nachos on Game Day — you won’t regret it!
