This beach is pristine as it is cleaned and groomed daily. Little Elm Beach is always open, always free and there are life jackets available on loan.

Head Out to the Water

Klyde Warren Park is having its first-ever music festival – Memorial Day Music Fest 2019. Check out performances across multiple stages throughout the day and into the night. Each stage will feature music from a variety of genres to satisfy lovers of rock, jazz, country and classical. The festival is Free and will take place on Sunday, May 26th from 2pm-10pm.

Catch a Flick

Kick off your Memorial Day weekend with a Free family movie night under the stars! On Friday, May 24th at 8:30pm, The LOT Downtown in Historic Downtown Mansfield is showing the movie That Thing You Do!. Admission is free, food trucks are on site, and outside food and beverages are welcome. Because The LOT Downtown has open lawn seating, visitors should plan on bringing lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.

Travel Back in Time

The Scarborough Renaissance Festival® is interactive fun for everyone, 16th Century Style. The festival takes place in Waxahachie and its final weekend is Memorial Day weekend, running May 25th – 27th from 10am – 7pm. Enjoy full combat armored jousts, Birds of Prey exhibitions, the Mermaid Lagoon and Renaissance entertainment on 27 stages.
