Little Elm Park

Little Elm Park is home to Little Elm Beach as well as tons of other amenities, including a playground, camping ground, soccer and softball fields, pavilions, and trails.

Camping Grounds

There is a primitive camping site with no electrical or showers. Permits are sold in the kiosk inside the camping grounds; $5/night or $15/four nights. There is a four night max.


Great for parties! There are two pavilions in Little Elm Park and both can be rented for private events. Call 972-731-3296 for more information.

Parking Information

Every weekend, Memorial Day Weekend Through Labor Day:

  • $10 per car
  • $25 season pass for Little Elm residents
  • $75 season pass for non-residents

Passes can only be purchased at the Little Elm Rec Center beginning Monday, May 20.

This is a parking fee, not a park usage fee, so you have the option of parking outside of the park and walking in or utilizing efrogs Little Elm, which runs through the summer. There is no parking charge Monday through Friday.

Lakefront Trail

Lakefront Trail is approximately four miles of crushed granite which connects from Hula Hut/Hydrous to McCord Park. Enjoy scenic views of the lake, with several access points for fishing. This trail is ideal for hikers, runners, mountain bicyclists, and anyone who enjoys seeing beautiful Lakefront at Little Elm!

Johnny Broyles Trail

Johnny Broyles Trail weaves around Little Elm Park for nearly two miles, although with some of the loops, you can make it much longer! It’s mostly concrete and is a wonderful place for the entire family to enjoy the outdoors.
