The Little Elm Public Library, the Parks & Recreation Department, and the Special Events Department are partnering to offer the Story Stroll, a family-friendly and safe, social-distancing activity for the community to enjoy from September 21 to October 19, 2020.
The Story Stroll program allows families to get outside and explore a different Little Elm park or amenity each week, guided along by colorful pages from children’s picture books displayed along the path.
“It’s a great way to combine literacy and physical activity,” says Library Manager Lynette Roberson. “Kids and their caregivers can enjoy the Town’s wonderful parks and trails as they stroll along and read together.”
The Story Stroll books will be on display at the following locations on the following dates:
9/21 Pete the Cat Pete at the Beach – Amphitheater
9/28 Beach Day – Beach
10/5 Some Bugs – Johnny Broyle’s Trail Entrance Bridgeview Drive and Lobo Lane
10/12 Dr. Seuss ABC – Beard Park
